The SLA NY Mentorship Program

 The SLA NY Mentorship Program

A Membership Committee Initiative

Are you a student or new information professional looking for some guidance, advice or direction in your career?

Are you an information professional looking to move your career in a new direction?

Are you a seasoned professional looking to give back to the profession while at the same time learning something new from someone less seasoned?

If you fall under any of these categories, the SLA NY Mentorship Committee will want to hear from you!

The mission of the SLA NY Mentorship Program is to identify and align mentors and mentees based on availability and professional interest and to further the development of mentees as information professionals in a changing environment.  The SLA NY Mentorship Program is open to all active members of SLA NY and is meant to provide a mutually beneficial professional relationship for participants in the program.

We are proud to announce this new initiative and hope that members will assist in us in assuring its success.
